What can I put on my tomato plants that's safe to still eat the tomatoes?

The leaves are curled inward and little bugs are inside the leaves. I still want to eat the tomatoes, but what's safe to kill them bugs?

Hi. Sevin claims to be totally safe to eat even the same day you spray it on. I've used it for years with no discernable ill results. John
Reply:You can use a spray of lemon juice or lemon dish soap.

However if it were me I would simply snap of the infected leaves in that some may not be killed and may breed other bugs or attract other bugs searching for mate. Snap them off and destroy the leaves in that the eggs will not hatch and spread more, in the event that the eggs are not destroyed by the various sprays. Also check the ground around the plant to make sure none have fallen down and remove them.
Reply:I would use lady bugs in the garden then do a mix of:

Seaweed/fish emulsion + molasses + orange oil. This will get rid of most pests. However, it will kill some of the smaller beneficial insects.

If you spray regularly with Garrett Juice, it will eliminate most problems before they start.

Lastly I recommend planting some flowering plants in the garden area to attract beneficial insects. Some suggestions are: alyssum and cosoms they will attract ladybugs, preying mantis and others and you don't have to worry about using chemicals!

Good Luck
Reply:Spray the plants with a solution of liquid dish soap and water. Also plant some marigolds in and around your tomato plants. Marigolds will help keep bugs away.
Reply:Dust the plants with Sevin or Malathon. I would be dead long ago if either would hurt you. Just wash the tomatoes as you normally do. Good luck.
Reply:You can get an insecticidal soap called SAFER
Reply:tabaco tabasco hot sauce diluted with vinger n water spray plants it will keep all bugs away
